What it does

Built specifically for App Store and Google Play screenshot workflows, not as a general design tool.

Translation

18 languages from one set of captions.

Write your captions in English, pick the languages you ship to, hit Translate. AppFramer calls the MyMemory free API and fills in Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Chinese, and more. Worth reviewing before you publish — machine translation is good, not perfect.

Requests go out one at a time to stay within the free API rate limits. Arabic switches the layout to RTL automatically.

Devices

Common App Store and Google Play sizes built in.

iPhone 6.9" down to SE, iPad Pro 13" down to mini, and standard Android phone and tablet sizes — all at the dimensions the stores actually require. Select the ones you need and they all end up in the export.

Each screen can hold a separate image per platform so iPhones, iPads, and Android don't have to share the same screenshot.

Export

A ZIP with a folder per language.

Export gives you a ZIP with en/, ja/, de/ (etc.) folders inside, each containing one PNG per screen per device. You still upload the files manually in App Store Connect — but at least you're not hunting through a pile of identically-named files.

Need just one screen? Single-screen export downloads a plain PNG directly.

Privacy

Your images stay in your browser tab.

AppFramer is a static web app with no backend. Rendering and export happen locally. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Close the tab and everything is gone unless you saved a project JSON first.

No account needed. The only outbound request is the translation API call.

How it works

1
Upload your screenshots
Drop a folder of images and they spread across your screens in order. Or upload one by one — your call.
2
Write captions, pick a font and background
One caption per screen, applied across all devices and languages. The preview updates live.
3
Pick languages and translate
Select the territories you ship to, hit Translate, and the captions get filled in for each language via the MyMemory API.
4
Export
Export All produces a ZIP with a folder per language, each containing PNGs for every screen and device you selected.
The whole thing takes a few minutesdepending on how many screens, devices, and languages you're exporting.

Everything included. Free.

AppFramer vs. paid screenshot SaaS tools

Tools like AppScreens and Previewed are polished, but full localization and unlimited exports usually sit behind a monthly plan. AppFramer skips that entirely.
